**We will gladly assist you in selecting & sizing your chimney cap.

L  Length (The shorter of the 2 L's)
W  Width (The shorter of the 2 W's)
FAL  Flue Area Length
FAW  Flue Area Width
FH  Flue Height (Height of the tallest Flue liner)
Material (Choose either Stainless Steel or Copper)

The minimum base size is FAL X FAW

The maximum base size is (shortest L minus 4") X (shortest W minus 4") - Example: L= 72", W= 28", the maximum base size would be 68" X 24"

The screen height should be at least 4" higher than FH - (the tallest flue liner).

Note: The maximum base size is the ideal size - this will give the most protection and achieve the most balanced look.

Choose a stock Multi-Flue cap or design your own top mount chimney cap using the diagram below.

Base Size (Use explanation above to figure base length & width)
OH  Lid Overhang (see chart below for standard lid overhangs)
SH  Screen Height
F  Flange size (Standard is 1 1/2")
Material Stainless Steel or Copper

Standard Lid Overhang for custom top mount "flat lid" chimney caps based on height of screen selected

Screen Height Lid Overhang Screen Height Lid Overhang
8" 2 1/2" 14" 4 1/2"
10" 3" 16" 5"
12" 4" 18" to 24" 5 1/2"
